Und ein Grossteil davon hat der Herr aus Liverpool an der Spitze des Genres verbracht mit ausverkauften Headliner-Shows \u00fcberall auf der Welt. Verwunderlich ist das jedoch nicht. Wenn man so kontinuierlich Drum&amp;Bass-Hits released wie es <strong>Sub Focus<\/strong> in den letzten 20 Jahren getan hat, dann sitzt man zurecht ganz oben und ist ein Aush\u00e4ngeschild der Szene.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nun ist <strong>Sub Focus<\/strong> zur\u00fcck mit seinem vierten Studioalbum <strong>\u00abEvolve\u00bb<\/strong>. Und dreht damit eigentlich die Zeit zur\u00fcck. Denn der Sound auf der neuen Platte ist stark inspiriert vom Rave-Sound der 90er. Das zeigt sich zum Beispiel stark auf der Single \u00abReady To Fly\u00bb mit Buddy Dimension. Das Vocal-Sample und die Synth-Line sind stark vom UK Hardcore der 90er inspiriert. Kein Wunder haben die beiden aus dem Track auch noch eine Hardcore-Version gemacht. Neben Hardcore zieht <strong>Sub Focus<\/strong> auch Inspiration aus Breakbeat und House. Aber keine Angst:<strong> Sub Focus<\/strong> ist Drum&amp;Bass und <strong>Sub Focus<\/strong> bleibt auch Drum&amp;Bass. Und zwar auf einem Qualit\u00e4tslevel, das seinesgleichen sucht. Denn auch wenn <strong>\u00abEvolve\u00bb\u00a0<\/strong>vom Sound der 90er inspiriert ist, klingt es doch klar nach 2023.
